Archdiocesan Planning Study Results
The Archdiocese of Seattle recently concluded a planning study to test the feasibility of a major archdiocesan-wide fundraising effort. All parishioners were invited to provide their opinions and level of support for specific needs affecting the archdiocese’s long-term strategic vision. The planning study tested strengthening the pension and medical plans for archdiocesan priests, providing retirement support to women religious communities serving in the archdiocese, and a component for parishes to raise funds for their specific, local needs. The results of the study can be found on the archdiocese’s webpage at seattlearchdiocese.org.

From Maintenance to Mission

Flowing from our new Mission Statement: Ignite Faith and Witness God's Love, and as a part of our eight-point Strategic Plan, our parish staff and the councils and commissions are working to implement a new structure for the staff and the councils and commissions. Some of the changes are immediate and others will be implemented over time. You will find the changes detailed in two documents that you can read from our website, Parish Leadership" and "The Way Ahead.” You can also read Fr. Gary's State of the Parish homily here that he shared the weekend of January 21 & 22, 2017.
