What is the Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) and why is it so important? The ACA is a combined effort
between the Archdiocese of Seattle and its many parishes to support a vibrant Catholic Community in Western Washington and carry out the mission of the Church. The ACA funds Catholic social ministries, programs for youth and young adult ministries, Catholic Schools, faith programs, plus administrative support for parishes such as liturgy guidance, evangelization, human resources, and much more.
Our parish goal is 75% participation from our 2,020 registered households. Our financial goal is $263,274. We have heard from 513 families (25% of goal) raising $277,662 in pledges and one-time gifts (105% of goal). We are most grateful to everyone that completed their pledge to the Annual Catholic Appeal – thank you! Reaching our financial goal is important but what we are hoping and praying for is participation. We are looking to each and everyone of you that calls St. Louise your parish to participate and return a pledge card even if all you can do is write the word prayer for the pledge amount and then pray for the appeal. All gifts received over our goal will be returned to the parish for our parish project of re-finishing all the woodwork on our altar space including the floor and furniture. Please consider giving today by clicking on the blue donate button above. Thank you for your generous response.
