Grief Support Gathering: “Hem of His Garment”
She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. (Luke 8:44) We long to touch and be touched by our beloved deceased again. Holding an item dear to them can offer us a tangible connection with them. Holding them in our hearts is a spiritual connection.
Come to the parish office Wednesday, September 28 from 2:30-4:00PM or Thursday, September 29 from 6:30-8:00PM to “touch the hem of his garment”. If you’d like, bring a physical item that connects you to your beloved deceased, or just come. Share or listen and receive healing for your wounded heart.
