The St. Louise Parish Elbert Library’s mission is to provide library resources that will ignite faith and witness God’s love to all members of our faith community.
Come and visit the Library to discover all the resources at your disposal. We offer a rich selection of books and DVDs for all ages.
Wednesdays, after the 9AM Mass
Saturdays, before and after the 5PM Mass
Sundays, after the 7:30AM, 9AM, 11AM, 1PM, and 6PM Masses.
The Library is closed on major holiday weekends, including:

In order to borrow items from the Library, you must be over 18 years old and a registered parishioner of St. Louise.

Please complete the Library Card Application, in the sidebar at left. Once we receive your application and verify your registration, we will mail a Library card to you. A userid and password will be provided with your Library Card to gain access to our electronic Catalog.

We accept donations of gently used books and DVDs, in good shape and with no highlighting, notes, or markings. Please drop off donations to the Library during hours of operation. Otherwise, you may drop them off at the Parish Office during regular business hours.
We respectfully request NO donations of VHS/VCR tapes, cassette tapes or CDs.
We are always looking for parishioners who would like to help with the Library, regardless of prior training. Orientation and training will be provided.
Volunteers should be able to work least half an hour one to two times per month following Mass. We try to accommodate your preferred Mass time.
We have a monthly committee meeting/work party in the library from 9:30AM to 11:30AM on the third Saturday of each month. Attendance is required.
We have a bi-annual Used Booksale, one weekend of August in odd numbered years. Everybody is expected to help prepare for and serve at the Used Booksale
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
